Privacy & Anonymity

What We Collect

• Discord account ID (for authentication only).
• A one-way hash per category (to prevent duplicate nominations and votes).

That's it.

What We DO NOT Collect

• We do not store which user voted for which nominee.
• We do not track your browsing behavior.
• We do not sell or share any data.

How Anonymity Works

When you vote, the server computes a one-way hash of your user ID and the category. This hash is stored to prevent double-voting. Your actual vote (which nominee you chose) is stored in a completely separate table with no user identifier.

Even with full database access, it is mathematically impossible to determine who voted for what.

Third-Party Services

• Discord — used for authentication.
• Supabase — used for data storage.
• Fortnite Data API — used to display public island metrics.
